Clinical characteristics of the patients included in the cohort.

Stage was divided in 4 categories according to FIGO classification. The histological grade of the tumor was evaluated by a pathologist and divided in two groups (grade 2 or 3) according to the FIGO grading system. Residual disease at surgery (Res. Disease) was evaluated in centimeter (cm) by a gyneco-oncologist. Neg = no residual disease. Survival and follow up time is the time in months (mo) from the date of primary resection of the ovarian tumor until the event of death due to ovarian cancer or until the last contact with the patient. Disease progression time is the time of disease progression from the date of primary resection of the ovarian tumor until the first event of disease progression. BT3.2 staining is the staining intensity observed on the tissue microarray analysis with an antibody against BT3.2. Intensity 1: weak. Intensity 2: moderate. Intensity 3: strong.
