Full length sequencing of MHC Class I alleles from cattle breeds. BoLA MHC Class I full length sequencing

The initial phase of this project was the allele discovery of full-length MHC class I alleles from a variety of cattle breeds (Holstein-Friesian, Angus, Highland and Galloway, and Jersey cattle) with long-read Pacific Biosystems (PacBio) SMRT technology that enabling the sequencing of the entire >3kb of these genes.
