This dataset contains data extracted from 79 studies investigating the impact of pollination services on fruit quality traits across multiple biomes and experimental conditions. Data include effect sizes for different fruit quality traits such as size, shape, taste, appearance, and nutritional content (macronutrients and micronutrients) under varying pollinator conditions. The studies analyzed span global biomes, with data on pollinator species richness, visitation rates, and pollinator traits. This dataset supports a meta-analysis of pollination effects on fruit crops fruit quality, which employs random-effects models to assess moderating variables including experimental scale, biome, pollinator guilds, managed vs wild pollinators and field vs greenhouse fruit environment.
