INSPIRE HVD - Geographical names

Dataset INSPIRE - Geographical names contains names taken from the ZBGIS dataset Geographical nomenclature standardized (GNS). The GNS contains only standardized names approved by the methodological process in accordance with the Geographical Nomenclature Standardization Instruction. The GNS dataset creation process is managed by the Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Office of the Slovak Republic. The data model complies with the INSPIRE data specification for the topic Geographical names. The dataset also falls under the high-value datasets (HVD) thematic category 'Geo-spatial data' under Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/138.
