In March 2000, 5 stations were installed in Ethiopia. An additional 20 stations were added in March 2001 and all of the stations were removed in March 2002. In July 2001, 10 stations were installed in Kenya, and they were removed in July 2002. The purpose of the project is to use teleseismic, regional and local events to image crust and upper mantle structure.
