The purpose of the research is to delineate the mechanism behind AICAR-induced cytotoxicity by understanding the genetic pathways that are affected with AICAR treatment. Overall design: H1975 non-small lung cancer cell line was treated with AICAR 0 or 1mM for four hours before total RNA extraction using MirVana RNA Isolation kit. There are two groups. A vehicle treatment and 1mM AICAR treatment. Each group contains three biological replicates.
