This research seeks to investigate the potential effects of certain biological compounds obtained from amphibian sources on tumor development and their underlying processes. By analyzing tumor size, mass, proliferation rate, apoptosis levels, and gene expression markers, cell death rates, as well as changes in genetic markers, these findings suggest promising therapeutic potential, warranting further preclinical validation. Statistical methods were applied to assess possible applications in cancer treatment strategies. The test period was from the beginning of 2024 to mid-May of 2025, and the test group consisted of 60 amphibians, thirty of which were given the amphibian compounds, and thirty of which were treated with a saline solution. Data were analyzed using the SPSS program, version 26.0, using t-tests and chi-squared tests. The P value, below 0.05, was considered statistically significant. During the twelve-week observation period, the dimensions and masses of the tumors were regularly measured and recorded. In addition, the cell proliferation, apoptosis, and activity of certain genetic factors were also measured. A decrease in the tumor size, mass, and cell division rate compared to the control group (P=0.0005). The group of treated animals showed a significant increase in cell death (P=0.0001) and a change in genetic markers (P=0.0001). As a possible therapeutic agent, this material gives us some support for the possibility of new approaches to cancer treatment, but the results require further verification to confirm practical application. The study has revealed that amphibian-derived compounds can reduce the size of tumors, alter cell growth, promote apoptosis, and influence gene expression, all of which suggest the anti-cancer properties of this material.
