(Note: DLNR maintains another version of aquifers, which is more administrative in nature, and which has different boundaries than the DOH version, which is more resource-oriented in nature). Source: State Department of Health Groundwater Protection Program, Safe Drinking Water Branch. May 2024: Hawaii Statewide GIS Program staff removed extraneous fields that had been added as part of the 2016 GIS database conversion and were no longer needed.
