AMS radiocarbon and material-analysis dataset for two funerary monuments in the Riyadh region (central Arabia): Al-Ghuzayz (YAM24-0946) and Banban (YAM24-0006)

This dataset supports the study "AMS radiocarbon dating and material analysis of two funerary monuments in the Riyadh region (central Arabia): from the Late Bronze Age to the Early Roman period" (Fares et al.). It comprises the OxCal calibration project file (0325_AR_453V.oxcal) for the two AMS radiocarbon determinations (CIRAM-13668: 2823 ± 31 BP, 1107–900 cal BC, Al-Ghuzayz / YAM24-0946; CIRAM-13669: 1969 ± 29 BP, 40 cal BC – 124 cal AD, Banban / YAM24-0006), and the full CIRAM laboratory analytical reports covering both the radiocarbon measurements and the FTIR and SEM-EDX analyses of the beads recovered at Al-Ghuzayz. Data were produced within the Yamamah archaeological survey programme (Heritage Commission, Ministry of Culture, Saudi Arabia; Preventive and Digital Archaeology, Lyon).
