Windtunnel experiments
This project investigated the changes in particulate matter emissions from sand amended with 0-5% (by weight) biochar of different particle sizes in a wind tunnel equipped with an abrader. Three replicates of each treatment. (0%, 5%, 10%, 20%). The data are collected every second and averaged to minute values.
a1, a2, a3, a4, a5, a6: PM10 measured at six different heights (0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, and 10 cm) from the soil surface.
u1, u2, u3, u4, u5, u6: Wind velocity measured at six different heights (0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, and 10 cm) from the soil surface.

PSD: Particle size distribution
Particle size particle size distribution of the collected samples in integrated horizontal slot sampler was determined using a laser diffraction particle size analyzer. (for unsieved and sieved Biochar)
