The project seeks to support the implementation of the Maleny Community Precinct masterplan and associated planning documents in the restoration of the pre-existing rainforest and riparian vegetation, the Palustrine Wetland, walking trail infrastructure and heritage values. This will be achieved by the targeted control of weed infestations, revegetation, maintenance and protection of identified heritage elements, construction of visitor access infrastructure, working in partnership with community conservation groups and assisting to engagement and education the community.
