This data analysis provides an important reference for the development direction of the online game industry. The heat change index M is calculated as: M = (D1/D2) × (T1/T2), where D1 refers to the proportion of total daily online players of this type of online game on the current day, D2 refers to the proportion of total daily online players of this type of online game on the previous day, T1 refers to the proportion of total daily online playtime of this type of online game on the current day, and T2 refers to the proportion of total daily online playtime of this type of online game on the previous day. Data analysis of the calculated heat change index M is conducted as follows: when 0 < M < 0.9, the heat change status is "DEC", indicating that the heat of this type of online game is declining; when 0.9 ≤ M ≤ 1.1, the heat change status is "NC", indicating that the heat of this type of online game has no significant change; when M > 1.1, the heat change status is "RISE", indicating that the heat of this type of online game is rising.
