Popular wine retail channels in Italy in 2020, by age group

A survey from 2020 showed that the website or app of the supermarket was the most popular retail channel for Italian wine consumers between 35 and 44 years (15 percent). 12 percent of them shopped on online marketplaces. The direct purchase from the wine producer seemed more popular among over-55-year-old consumers (40 percent).
