The importance of interactions between snow, permafrost and vegetation dynamics in terrestrial carbon balance in circumpolar regions

<p>This project aims to quantify the snow and the canopy's influences on the carbon dynamics in circumpolar regions. We perform three sets of simulation. The model output reveals that the snow's warming effect will release more carbon into the atmosphere while the canopy's cooling effect will get carbon sequestered into the ecosystem.</p>
