VPRS 9615 File Location Register

This series comprises a register of file locations for some files in VPRS 6008 General correspondence files. It is possible that the series was commenced to record the transfer of files to other agencies resulting from the transfer of responsibilities to those agencies. During the period covered by 'movement entries' in the register, the water industry in Victoria was undergoing significant administrative change. Although the movements recorded in the register occurred from 1987 to 1994 the files concerned dated from as early as 1928.For each file in the register a location code and the date of movement to that location was recorded.
