The continuous introduction of innovations, new scientific findings, materials, and technologies into transport engineering drives the need for their qualitative definition and the consequent revision of applicable technical regulations. The paper presents a statistical analysis and graphical interpretation of geodetic monitoring results for road‐bridge transition zones obtained through static terrestrial laser scanning (TLS). The study aims to propose a technological regulation for measuring the asphalt surface in transition zones on motorways and first-class roads via TLS, which can subsequently be used to evaluate their deformations. Between 2019 and 2023, five epochs of observation were carried out on selected bridges in the Ostrava region, which included a rigorous verification of the stability and accuracy of both the primary and secondary control network. Based on the experimental findings, the proposed technical regulation for monitoring the stability of road transition zones by the TLS survey method recommends a permitted deviation of ±5 mm for motorways and first‐class roads and ±7 mm for lower‐class roads.
