Analysis scripts and dataset for Barthel et. al. (2023)

This archive contains post-processed data and plotting scripts needed to generate the results described in Barthel et.al. (2023) Machine learning correction operators for under-resolved climate models using nudged simulations. The archive includes processed data from simulations of a 2 layer Quasi-Geostrophic model generated using an in-house solver, simulations of DOE's E3SM Atmosphere Model Version 2 (EAMv2), and ERA5 reanalysis data. A detailed description of the model and simulations can be found in Barthel et. al. (2023).
