资源简介:
This data set includes sub-hourly measurements of major ions concentrations and discharges for a selection of storm-events in two French critical zone observatories. The variables have been measured at the outlet of Kervidy-Naizin catchment in AgrHyS observatory (Fovet et al., 2018) and the outlet of Strengbach catchment in the “Observatoire Hydro-Geochimique de l’Environnement” (Pierret et al., 2018). Major ion concentrations have been measured using experimental prototypes of field laboratory called “Riverlabs” (Floury et al., 2017; Brekenfeld et al., submitted). The filtered water was analysed by a Dionex ICS-5000 Ion Chromatography system (Thermo Scientific) for the major cations (Na+, Mg2+, K+, Ca2+) and anions (Cl-, NO3-, SO42) every 35 to 45 minutes at Kervidy-Naizin and every 20 to 30 minutes at Strengbach. Stream discharge at both sites was estimated at the catchment outlets every minute (Kervidy-Naizin) and every 2 minutes (Strengbach) based on long-term, well-established rating curves and continuous water level monitoring. The data sets includes all data used in the analysis published in Brekenfeld et al. (2024) which correspond to 62 rainfall-discharge events identified based on discharge variations and for which all concentrations data have been validated (no technical issue, no maintenance operation during the events) between June 2018 and August 2022. Details related to the monitoring protocol are provided in Brekenfeld et al. (2024) in the Material section.
