Tabacco rhizosphere soil microbial diversity

The aim of our study is to investigate the effects of intercropping insectary floral plants with tobacco on the rhizosphere soil microbial community structure, function, and physicochemical properties in the context of continuous tobacco cropping. We employed a range of molecular biology techniques and soil physicochemical analysis to assess the diversity, function, and physicochemical properties of the soil microbial communities, while also studying the influence of the intercropping system on the overall soil ecosystem.
