Dynamics in Ovarian Cancer Evolution. Ovarian Cancer Dynamics

In this study we used SOLiD mate-pair sequencing, SOLiD targeted exome sequencing, IonTorrent targeted exome sequencing and SOLiD paired-end and single-end RNA sequencing to screen for somatic variation and gene expression differences in genomes of a total of 27 tumor sites in 3 patients with ovarian cancer, compared to control samples of each of these patients. We identified between 3 and 48 somatic mutations / small indels per sample, as well as up to 369 somatic genomic rearrangements per patient.
