Incubation experiments off New Zealand - Sponge Microbiomes

This data collection contains 16S rRNA amplicon data of 11 sponges collected in 2017 during RV SONNE expedition SO254 off New Zealand. Incubation experiments (both in situ, as well as ex situ) were conducted with the 11 sponge holobionts in order to assess their microbial community composition in relation to nutrient fluxes, oxygen consumption, dissolved organic matter fluxes, and fatty acid composition.
