资源简介:

This deposit contains the three hand-constructed research workbooks underlying the MSc thesis "Patient Capital Under Pressure: Sovereign Wealth Fund Portfolio Strategy, Governance, and Resilience Across Market Cycles (2008–2024)" (Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Université libre de Bruxelles). The dataset records the disclosed asset allocation, the governance arrangements controlling allocation decisions, and the disclosure practice of six sovereign wealth funds across the 2008–2024 window: Norges Bank Investment Management (Government Pension Fund Global), Chile's Economic and Social Stabilisation Fund, GIC, Temasek, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and the Public Investment Fund. The Kuwait Investment Authority enters as a non-core case marking the statutory non-disclosure boundary. Every observation is compiled by hand from the issuing institution's own published disclosure — annual reports, statutes, decrees, owner mandates, investment guidelines and self-assessments — and is registered against an identifiable source document. No figure is interpolated, no missing year is filled, and no difference is taken across a valuation-basis or definitional break that the issuing fund has not itself bridged. Where a fund's disclosure does not support a comparison, the workbooks record that inadmissibility explicitly rather than estimating around it, so the variation in what can and cannot be observed forms part of the evidence rather than a gap in it. CONTENTS 1. Sovereign Wealth Fund Universe Screening Matrix — two-stage case selection over the full 350-fund census, with hard gates, governance and disclosure screening, retained sample and binding exclusion reasons. 2. Baseline Allocation Mapping Dataset — endpoint observations for six funds on a common six-class scheme, with source register, raw extraction log, crosswalk dictionary, 43 quality controls, a non-comparable-evidence register and an independent second-reader trail. 3. Longitudinal Allocation, Authority and Disclosure Registers — over 2,500 dated observations across six funds, with series-and-break dictionary, decision-rights register, policy and authority events, disclosure-change register, governance-body register, and live quality gates that block a claim until its evidentiary condition returns true. Each workbook opens on a README sheet stating its build rules, admissibility criteria, and what the evidence does not support. A plain-text README with file-level SHA-256 checksums is included. Coverage: 2008–2024. Information cutoff: primary documents available to January 2026. Format: Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), openable in LibreOffice Calc.
