Maḳâmât-i-Sayyid Atâ’î (مقامات سيّد اتائى )
The life, miracles, and spiritual teachings of the great Saint of the Yasawî order, Jamâl-aldîn Khwâjah Dîwâna Sayyid Atâ’î of Khwârizm and Khaiwaḳ, who was born in the reign of Shâh Isma’îl Ṣafawî ( the exact date is given on fol. 14b, last line, and fol. 15a, first line: چون حضرت ايشان چهار مايه شدند فتنۀ شاه اسمعيل واقع گرديد , and likewise on fol.31a, l. 1 sq.: حضرت ايشان در هنگام شیر خوارگى بودند كه فترات غريبه نمود و بسبب هجوم قزلباش و ( فتنۀ شاه اسمعيل كار اكثر آنحدود بقتل انجاميد الخ ,
And died A.H. 1016= A.D. 1607 , 1608 (see fol. 118a, ll. 1 and 2 and fol. 123a , first line ; chronogram : تاج سر اوليا شد , on fol. 122a , last line ), 100 or even 103 years old ( see fol. 122b, l.9: - زهى خواجۀ خواجگان خواجۀ ما كه صد سال هادئ راه هُدا شد and fol. 122b , l.9 sq.:خواجۀ خواجگان جمال الدين آن نمايندۀ طريق هدا مرشد سالكان خفيه و جهر هادئ طالبان راه خدا صد و سی (سه read ) سال در جهان ميزد (الخ, which would fix his birth either in A.H. 916 ( A.D. 1510, 1511) or in A.H. 913 ( A.D. 1507 , 1508). His father was Sayyid Pâdishâh Khwâjah Pardapûsh (پرده پوش ), of the Yasawî order, and he traces his descent to Sulṭân Khwâjah Aḥmad Yasawî, called Atâ (father), the founder of the Yasawî order and third Khalifah of Abû Ya’ḳûb Yûsuf bin Ayyûb of Hamdân (see the Safînat- alauliyâ, Nos. 73 and 75 ). This work was compiled by the Saint’s younger son, Muḥammad Ḳâsim bin Khwâjah Dîwâna Sayyid Atâ’î, with the takhalluṣ Riḍwân ( see fol. 2b, ll. 8 and 9, and fol. 123a, l. 10 ), on the basis of some previous works on the same subject, one by Âkhund Maulânâ Darwîsh Tâshkandî, the other by Ḳâḍî Jân Muḥammad bin Ḳaḍî Khân Bukhârî (بجارى , probably a mistake for بخارى ), styled مقامات العارفين ( see ff. 4a, ll. 7 and 12-13 , and 4b, l . 3 sq.) , at the suggestion of his brother Khwâjah Abû-alḥasan (see fol. 4b, last line sq.), and completed the first of Muḥarram, A.H. 1036= A.D. 1626, September 22 ( see fol. 124b, ll. 8 and 9 ) . It is divided into a muḳaddimah, four maḳâms, and a khâtimah.

Maḳâm I, on fol.14b: Genealogy and pedigree of the great Saint Jamâl-aldîn Dîwâna and the ramification of his family with the Yasawî, Kubrawî, and Naḳshbandî orders ( در ذكر شجرۀ نسبى و سلسلۀ حسبئ حضرت ايشان ) .
Maḳâm II: Life and travels of the Saint, on fol. 30b (در ذکر مبادئ احوال و سیاحات حضرت ایشان).
Maḳâm III: Miracles of the Saint, on fol. 47a ( در ذكر بعضى از خوارق عادات و برخى از كرامات حضرت ايشان ).
Maḳâm IV: Spiritual sayings of the Saint, on fol. 102aدر ذكر بعضى از كلمات قدسيّۀ حضرت ايشان ) ) .
Khâtimah: Last illness and death of the Saint, on fol. 116a ( در مرض موت حضرت ايشان و كيفيّت انتقال آنحضرت الخ ).
Beginning: سر نامۀ مقامات اولياء هستى سپاس قديرى سزد كه بقدرت كامله لواى رفعت آدمى بر كافّۀ مخلوقات افراخته الخ .
The copy is incomplete at the end; one or two leaves of the epilogue are missing. There seems to be also a small lacuna after fol. 11. Worm-eaten throughout.
