"Beim Spiel. (Musangano.)" ("At play. (Musangano.)"). Two young men are playing a board game that seems to resemble the Bao game played on the East African coast. Another man is watching the scene. On the left: a fourth man is working on a stool, using a hammer. In the background: several huts.; Ernst Hermann Schnabel (1904-1953) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa until the end of the 1930s. In 1934, he married Käthe Prellwitz in Kyimbila.
