This series contains assessment records which give an assessment of all pupils who are passing to post-primary courses in the coming year. Columns are provided for: name of pupil; age in months and years on 1st January of the coming year; number of months spent in 6th class; estimate of class work out of maximum indicated, (subjects are English, Dictation, Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies, History and Geography), total is given out of 1000; position in relation to total enrolment in 6th class; IQ; suitability for foreign language study (Y/N); nature and length of course desired by parent; name of school nominated; special remarks regarding pupil’s conduct, health, interests and aptitudes; teacher’s recommendation for course; inspector’s decision regarding the course chosen; and school to which child proceeded.
