资源简介:
We investigated a case-control study of T2D patients with and without chronic kidney disease conditions compared to healthy volunteers to identify the microbial patterns and comparative analysis. For this study, we recruited 16 adults from Chennai zone in the state of Tamilnadu ; and segregated them into three groups, group (I) with T2D without chronic kidney disease (T2D-NonCKD), group (II) with T2D with chronic kidney disease (T2D-CKD) and group (III) with healthy volunteers; DNA was extracted from the collected fresh stool samples and performed 16SrRNA V3/V4 gene sequencing using Illumina Mi sequencing platform to identify the bacterial community in the gut region. Characterization of gut microbiota in healthy and T2D-associated chronic kidney disease revealed the Phylum Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes is dominant over healthy and comparatively reduced level occurred in diabetic CKD and Non-CKD group; The other phylum Actinobacteria is widely present in the diseased sample. Another phylum Verrucomicrobiota is enriched only in the diabetic CKD population, and Gammaproteobacteria is only in the diabetic non-CKD population.
