<p>We present a method to automatically segment 4D flow magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) by identifying net flow effects using the standardized difference of means (SDM) velocity. The SDM segmentation method was validated in 4D flow MRI measurements of&nbsp;<em>in vitro</em>&nbsp;flow phantoms,&nbsp;<em>in&nbsp;</em><em>vivo</em>&nbsp;Circle of Willis datasets, and&nbsp;<em>in vivo</em>&nbsp;aortas.</p>
<p>Here, we provide the velocity fields obtained using 4D flow MRI&nbsp;in the scaled&nbsp;<em>in vitro</em>&nbsp;flow phantoms.</p>
