16S rDNA sequencing of cecum contents in lower and high responders following treadmill training.

We performed the treadmill running experiment on mice and compared the lower responders (LR) and high responders (HR) based on the change of trabecular and cortical bone mass. Mice were forced to run on the sterile treadmill with a 5 degrees incline at the speed of 15 meters/min for 1 h/day, corresponding to the moderate exercise intensity. After treadmill exercise running for 6 consecutive weeks, the 16S rDNA sequencing of the cecum contents of LR and HR mice was performed.
