Urban landscapes emit heat and greenhouse gases, contributing to urban heat island and global warming. For understanding the role of urban landscapes, we have conducted eddy covariance measurements of energy, water vapor, CO2, and CH4 fluxes at a suburban landscape. The site was established at the roof top of a building at Osaka Metropolitan University. The surrounding area is also characterized as a suburb consisting of universities, residential areas, roads, and vegetation.The aerial fraction of the park is 51% buildings, 6% roads, 8% bare soil, and 35% vegetation. The local climate zone for urban areas is "open low-rise (LCZ6)". The meteorological and environmental variables are measured at a roof and rooftop greening.
