资源简介:
Sidon (translated to 'fishing-town' from Biblical Hebrew) is the third-largest city in Lebanon. The area has been inhabited since very early in prehistory. Finds from various archaeological sites suggest a founding date just prior to the invention of pottery. This figurative limestone statue, now housed at The National Museum of Museum of Beirut, is thought to believe from the 7th Century BC.
