Reithrodontomys raviventris (Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse), is endemic to salt marsh habitats of the northern and eastern borders of the San Francisco Bay. Due to extreme reduction in habitat, it is Endangered at federal and state levels, as well as IUCN. The samples in this bioproject cover a good portion of its known range..
