ProBac__A_consortium_to_pioneer_the_development_of_PROtein__BACteriocins_as_therapeutic_antibiotics_

Through the development of the use of protein antibiotics against multi-drug resistant, hospital-acquired Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae) and with a view to personalised medicine (design/select protein antibiotics based on pathogen genome data), the study aims after 5 years to have a panel of diagnostic reagents for more extensive animal tests and phase I clinical trials (translation award application).
