Paracou Research Station. In 1984, the Cirad team set up 12 square 9ha plots, among which 9 were subjected to logging induced disturbances in 1986-1988. The level 2 treatment plots have undergone selective felling for timber plus thinning by poison-girdling of all non-commercial species (NCS) of DBH ≥ 40 cm (30 trees/ha).
