Integrated multi-omics and bioinformatic methods to reveal the mechanisms of sinomenine against diabetic nephropathy

To investigate the function and the molecular mechanism of sinomenine in treating diabetic nephropathy via transcriptomics study. Overall design: In-vivo study, DN rats were randomized to be treated with vehicle or SIN (20mg/kg or 40 mg/kg) daily by gavage for 8 weeks. Then, the pharmacological effect of SIN on DN and the potential mechanisms were also evaluated in vivo by biochemical evaluation, histopathological examination, transcriptomics, and metabolomics.
