Genetic linkage map by Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research. Monodelphis domestica

The Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research has constructed a genetic linkage map for Monodelphis domestica. The mapping panel was derived from the two most geographically separated populations available, both from Brazil. The map includes 80 loci ordered in eight autosomal linkage groups and one sex-specific X chromosome linkage group. The map has a total sex-averaged length of 633.0 cM, the smallest known for vertebrates.
