This repository contains the processed datasets and R code used in the paper: Non-random species loss weakens functional diversity and species asynchrony, destabilizing grassland communities. The datasets include block and plot identifiers, species-loss scenario and target richness level, removed biomass (2013) as an index of manipulation disturbance, community temporal stability (as well as the temporal mean and SD of total abundance), species richness, functional diversity (FDis), abundance-weighted mean species stability, and synchrony/compensatory-dynamics metrics (−log variance ratio as the primary metric, with φ-based indices provided for comparability). The repository also includes functional-group abundance–biomass calibration data (2014–2016). Detailed definitions and calculation procedures for each variable are described in the paper and Supporting Information, and the code provided here reproduces the main analyses (ANOVAs and scenario-specific piecewise SEMs) and figures from the processed inputs.
