PM2.5是指大气中直径小于或等于2.5微米的颗粒物,也称为可入肺颗粒物。虽然PM2.5只是地球大气成分中含量很少的组分,但它对空气质量和能见度等有重要的影响。与较粗的大气颗粒物相比,PM2.5粒径小,富含大量的有毒、有害物质且在大气中的停留时间长、输送距离远,因而对人体健康和大气环境质量的影响更大。中国气象监测站点监测获取的PM2.5浓度数据,为大气物理、大气化学、环境遥感等相关学科领域的研究人员提供PM2.5浓度的站点监测数据。数据时间范围在2016年,包括中国大陆地区1524个站点数据。

PM2.5 refers to atmospheric particulate matter with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less, also known as inhalable particulate matter. Although PM2.5 is only a minor component of the Earth's atmospheric composition, it exerts substantial impacts on air quality, visibility and other relevant environmental metrics. Compared with coarser atmospheric particulates, PM2.5 has a smaller particle size, carries abundant toxic and harmful substances, and exhibits a longer atmospheric residence time and greater transport distance, thus posing more severe threats to human health and atmospheric environmental quality. The PM2.5 concentration data monitored by China's meteorological monitoring stations provide on-site monitoring data of PM2.5 concentrations for researchers in academic fields including atmospheric physics, atmospheric chemistry, environmental remote sensing and other related disciplines. The data spans the year 2016, covering records from 1524 monitoring sites across mainland China.
