Data of Rice Flower Opening Time and Sunlight Intensity under Open Sunlight, Cloud Cover, and Experimental Shading-2022

This is the first record of sunlight Intensity (in Lux) at anthesis of 388 Indica rice landraces. This is also the first experimental evidence of change in first flowering time under shade. Records of flower opening time, closing time, and the sunrise-to-anthesis duration, under full sunlight, cloud cover, and Experimental Shading are provided from a 2022 study.
