An odyssey to achieve live birth in a woman with persistent endometrial dysbiosis and recurrent endometritis

We report a case of a 40-year-old woman with a history of recurrent pregnancy, preterm birth, and chronic endometritis. The endometritis recurred following the standard antibiotic regimen. Microbiome analysis via 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed persistent dysbiosis in both vaginal and endometrial samples despite of antibiotic regimens.
