(SC/BIOL2050) Abundance of birds related to tree density

In this experiment, we (Mahal, Elron Oscar, Yu XIAO and me)analized the relative abundance of birds between two different habitats: grassland and woodlot. Since birds tend to anidate and search for refugee in the woods, we expect a bigger population in the woodlots compared to the grassland. For measuring that, we did n=10 transects, 5 per habitat, 5 minutes per transect, and measured how many birds we could encounter in that space. We also wrote down how many bird species were there, in case biodiversity was affected by the habitat too, and wind, since we suspect bird population is largely affected by wind.
