Susceptibility to Plateau Effect of Improving the Professional Competency Level of High-Speed Railway Dispatchers

A 27-month longitudinal study was conducted with 97 dispatchers from the Chengdu Railway Bureau. Standardized tests measured professional competency levels, while psychometric scales assessed personality traits, emotional regulation, and goal orientation. Correlation and hierarchical regression analyses explored the relationships between psychological, demographic factors, and the plateau effect.
