Finishing unit (10) with position-adjustable copying device (11)， comprising: - a frame (12); - a tool (13) which is attached to the frame (12)， relative to which it is rotatable about a working axis (A); wherein the copying device (11) has a guide section (14) which is designed to come into contact with a workpiece (15) to be machined and is connected to the frame (12) in such a way that， in use， the guide section ( 14) is in contact with the workpiece (15) to be machined and that its position relative to the tool (13) determines the engagement between the latter and the workpiece (15) to be machined; wherein it includes a drive device (16) which serves to adjust the position of the copying device (11) relative to the tool (13) independently of the interaction of the finishing unit (10) with a workpiece (15) to be machined， characterized in that the drive device (16) includes: - a linear actuator (17) attached to the frame (12); and - A holder (18) to which the copying device (11) is attached and which is connected to the frame (12); - a thrust element (19) which engages with a movable member (20) of the linear actuator (17) and with the bracket (18) in order to transmit the movement between the linear actuator (17) and the bracket (18); said drive device (16) being configured such that， in use， translational movement of the movable member (20) is followed by movement of the pusher element (19)， this movement setting the bracket (18) in movement relative to the frame (12 )， which is proportional to the translational movement， in order to move the copying device (11) relative to the tool (13).
