Dataset for "Campaign Rallies as Signals of Electoral Competitiveness and Their Effects on Voter Turnout"

This dataset contains county-level panel data from U.S. presidential election years 2000 to 2016. It was constructed to study the relationship between political campaign rallies and voter turnout, as analyzed in the manuscript "Campaign Rallies as Signals of Electoral Competitiveness and Their Effects on Voter Turnout".
