Dataset for: Unsupervised Soil Salinity Zones of the Afar Region (30 m resolution)

This dataset contains the final outputs of a self-supervised deep learning analysis of soil salinity in the Afar Region of Ethiopia at 30 m spatial resolution. It includes the derived salinity zone raster, trained Masked Autoencoder (MAE) model weights, self-supervised embeddings, publication figures (Figures 1–6), the full Python analysis pipeline, and the associated manuscript. Methods: MAE pretraining on Sentinel-2 imagery, followed by clustering to delineate salinity zones.
