Replication Data for: Value chain impact of the increased hilsa shad (Tenualosa ilisha) harvest in Bangladesh

This survey data study was conducted along the hilsa market chain from fishers to consumers from the landing centers of three hilsa sanctuaries of Chandpur, Bhola and Barisal in 2016 during peak and lean seasons. These fishing communities are directly dependent on fishing inside the sanctuaries for their livelihood. Sixty women were selected for interviewed of fisher household, including the consumers the major spawning areas for hilsa in Bangladesh.
