Irish Residential Indoor Environmental Quality and Heat Pump Monitoring Dataset - Single-Storey Dwelling

This repository contains indoor environmental quality (IEQ) monitoring data and heat pump operational data collected from an anonymised single-storey Irish residential dwelling (H002). The IEQ monitoring dataset spans from October 2022 to July 2024 and includes measurements collected from multiple monitored spaces within the dwelling, including the Bedroom, Kitchen, and Living Room. Recorded variables include indoor air temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration, light levels, and motion indicators. The heat pump operational dataset spans from August 2022 to December 2022 and includes operational measurements related to heat pump performance, including temperaturesm flow rates, operational states, and and energy-related variables. The dataset was prepared for research and educational purposes and may support analysis related to: indoor environmental quality, residential heat pump operation, heating season performance, and building thermal behaviour The dataset has been minimised, anonymised, and shared in open-access format as part of the PREDICT open-access database on Irish housing. The dataset was prepared as a collaborative research output between the above-listed authors, including researchers from Technological University Dublin (Dr. Gerard Obasi, Dr. Ciara Ahern, Dr. Aimee Byrne, and Alireza Nazeri), funded under the SEAI National Energy Research Development and Demonstration (RD&D) Funding Programme.
