资源简介:

Micrometeorite influx represents a continuous source of extraterrestrial material on Earth's surface. However, the observed abundance of these particles is strongly influenced by local terrestrial sedimentation rates and prevailing environmental conditions. This model, derived from global ocean sedimentation rate data presented by Restreppo et al. (2020), quantifies the predicted distribution of micrometeorites across the world's oceans. For the purpose of analysis and targeted collection efforts, the global ocean has been partitioned into three distinct regions, with areas denoted in red indicating the most promising locations for micrometeorite recovery.
