"Die drei ältesten Christen aus Mamba" ("The three oldest Christians from Mamba"). Portrait of three elders shown with faces and chests only. The outer men wear European clothes and jackets. The one in the middle wears a white cloth outfit. All have enlarged earlobes, the one on the left with ear jewellery. Two mean are wearing straw hats. Behind them one can see a garden.; The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910.
