AGCM Timeslice expeliment for early winter in 2020-21

Monthly data of AGCM timeslice experiments for early winter in 2020-21. There are five exerperiments with various sea surface temperatures (SSTs) and sea ice (ICE) conditions. (i) both SST and ICE are climatology (SSTclm_ICEclm). (ii) SST is climatology while ICE is observed (SSTclm_ICEobs), (iii) SST is observation while ICE is climatology (SSTobs_ICEclm), (iv) both SST and ICE are observation (SSTobs_ICEclm). (v) SST in the tropics is observation while SST in the extratropics is climatology. ICE is climatology (SSTtoga_ICEclm). The used AGCM is AFES version 4.3. The horizontal resolution is T119 (about 100km). The model has 54 vertical levels. Each experiment has 100 members. GrADS control files are also provided. The simulation was conducted at the Earth Simulator of JAMSTEC. 2020-2021年早冬大气环流模式(AGCM, Atmospheric General Circulation Model)时间切片试验月度数据集。本数据集包含5组基于不同海表温度(SST, Sea Surface Temperature)与海冰(ICE, Sea Ice)条件设置的试验:(i) 海表温度与海冰均采用气候态值(SSTclm_ICEclm);(ii) 海表温度采用气候态值,海冰采用观测值(SSTclm_ICEobs);(iii) 海表温度采用观测值,海冰采用气候态值(SSTobs_ICEclm);(iv) 海表温度与海冰均采用观测值(SSTobs_ICEclm);(v) 热带海域海表温度采用观测值,非热带海域(extratropics)海表温度采用气候态值,海冰采用气候态值(SSTtoga_ICEclm)。本研究所用的AGCM为AFES 4.3版本,水平分辨率为T119(约100千米),垂直方向共设置54层。每组试验包含100个集合成员,同时附带GrADS控制文件。本模拟试验在日本海洋研究开发机构(JAMSTEC)的地球模拟器(Earth Simulator)上完成。本数据集得到以下项目支持:ArCSII、环境研究与技术开发基金项目2-1904(编号JPMEERF20192004),日本学术振兴会(JSPS)创新领域科学研究助成金项目6102(KAKENHI资助编号:19H05701、JP19H05702及JP19H05703),以及KAKENHI资助项目JP18H01278、JP19H01377、JP19H01964、JP20H01970与JP22H01299。
