To identify genomic loci that are most prone to instability following replication stress. Because retrotransposon pairs have been hypothesized to serve as chromosome fragile sites in yeast, this study determines sites of chromosome rearrangement in Retrotransposon Overdose strains, which contain a greater number of retrotransposons at new positions in the genome.
